To top it off, when former President Obama released his favorite books of 2017, The Power capped his list, making me even more excited for this novel. When I finally got the email that a copy was ready for me, I couldn’t wait to start reading. Review: The Power had been on my list for months, but I had trouble getting my hands on a copy through my local library (apparently it was on many other lists too!).
